JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Summary: Details precast plank accurately, completely, and clearly for approval, fabrication, and erection, on time and within budget, by performing the following duties.

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:
Experience with AutoCAD 2012 or newer required. 
Experience with Revit is preferred but not required.

Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Draws erection drawings and shop tickets for precast hollowcore projects ranging in size from residential to small commercial with degree of difficulty from easy to medium.
Draws small, simple wall panel and solid slab projects including erection drawings, and/or shop tickets.
Assists other detailers as part of a team to create material lists and shop tickets.
Read and interpret construction documents including A/E drawings and specifications for incorporation into KP erection drawings.
Prepares plant and field bulletins. 
Prepares drawings for engineer's remarks and cleans up drawings after engineer's review.
Prepares final drawings for production and electronically transfers information to the plant.
Coordinates other trade's requirements with plank including mechanical openings, stairways, masonry, steel, and concrete.
Utilizes knowledge of various engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
Must adhere to all Kerkstra Precast and MiOSHA safety rules.
Must work within the attendance policy guidelines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience Needed: 5+ years experience working in AutoCAD drawing structural designs.   Prefer experience in Revit. 

Education or Equivalent: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with Revit and AutoCAD are considered a plus.
